Career@Physics National Scholarship(CPNS) 2016 from Career@Physics

Career@Physics invites applications for Career@Physics National Scholarship(CPNS) 2016 for taking physics to the non-connected students of India. Scholarships to the tune of about INR 51,000 will be awarded under CPNS-2016.
Eligibility:
(1) Students who passed Class XII in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply.
(2) Passed Class XII from Government schools.
(3) Must be studying in either 1st year or 2nd year of BSc. in any institute/University in India.
(4) Must satisfy the marks cutoff requirement(Class XII) available below.
(5) Not receiving scholarship from any other source.
How to apply:
There is NO APPLICATION fee. Please fill the online application form available at http://www.careeratphysics.in/cpns/apply
Selection criteria:
During the first round, 100 applicants will be selected from all over India on basis of their application and statement of interest. Preference will be given to students from rural background.
This will be followed by personal interview(medium of interview English/Hindi) by experts visiting your home/telephone interview/ suitable online medium. Twenty students will be shortlisted on basis of their interview, subject to verification of their certificates/documents. Top three students will receive scholarship of INR 5000/annum. Additional two students will receive scholarship of INR 1000/annum.
ALL twenty students will receive personal guidance of experts to pursue a career in scientific research.
